includesGeneratedCode potential issue

Description

The flag includesGeneratedCode and related configuration for including generated code in libs are enabled and configured in the latest release "0.48.3".

But I have noticed that the generated code is not check in git (ignored in .gitignore). Is that an expected behavior?

The code is generated each time before publish and is included in the npm package. There no need to commit them to git.

But will an app build when installing the library directly from git (e.g. Github)?

The same applies to all of the other generated code, such as typescript definitions.

It depends on the package manager used and whether you have prepack or prepare script. See https://callstack.github.io/react-native-builder-bob/build#manual-configuration
