Paper Dialog not rendering as a page overlay

Hi everyone!

I hope I have a quick question and easy to answer.

I was trying to use dialog but unfortunately instead of it rendering as position "absolute/static" it just renders in place pushing the content down. What I'm doing wrong and how to fix it ?

I use:

• expo

I have:

• PaperProvider in _layout.tsx

Try to pass the Portal Package dialog box

As mentioned above prolly you're missing the Portal component as a wrapper around the Dialog:

  <Dialog visible>
    <Dialog.Title>Alert</Dialog.Title>
    <Dialog.Content>
      <Text variant="bodyMedium">This is simple dialog</Text>
    </Dialog.Content>
    <Dialog.Actions>
      <Button>Done</Button>
    </Dialog.Actions>
  </Dialog>
</Portal>
