Current behavior

The plugin changes the default background color of the webview to white.

Expected behavior

You should not change it if no color is configured.

By default getBackgroundColor returns the white color, for me it should not change the default color, it should only change it if a new color is configured.

Thank you for reaching out. I understand that by default no background color should be set. Unfortunately that would be a breaking change. Therefore we will only be able to release this change with the next major update. In the meantime, you can patch the plugin.

@faraznaqvi99 As I said, this will be part of the next major release (Capacitor 8) since it's a breaking change. Feel free to submit a PR to get a preview build.
