Apache/nginx vhost

Good day,

I have just nuked my old Chamilo installation and uploaded Chamilo 2 to the subdomain - chamilo.bwic.tc. I have not changed any installation files, but I have ensured that the SD is set to PHP 8.2 with FPM (default cache).

I get an installation error when I access the domain - "Chamilo is not well configured. Change your apache/nginx vhost to point to the /public folder". The installation is on a Panel shared web host, and I do not have access to edit Apache or Nginx.

I'm not sure how to move forward other than rolling back to the old version.

First of all, 8.3 would be good for php version.
Then you need to have a virtual hsot that is pointing chamilo/public forlder.
If you don't have this, you won't be able to install this Chamilo version.

Take a bit of time to read the documentation to ensure to meet the requirements.
