I'm confused why you didn't just fork https://github.com/agentrickard/workbench.

A rewrite using D8 principles would be preferred.

Where are we right now? Then if we could meet at same page it's probably to keep working on this initiative

The big parts are done -- thanks for the push. What's left is better Views integration and, in particular, how to extend the dashboard views when Accéss ms Moderation are added.

There are also some menu issues that seem related to how Views handles tabs.
