APA style follows some basic principles:

• a period appears after each reference element
• the version and the bracketed description are part of the title

cffconvert doesn't respect the rules:

• the title is only followed by a period, if a version is given
• the type (description) is missing completely
• the author deosn't conclude with a period in all cases
