Install SVN Path Copy

To Install SVN Path Copy download the newest Release. Unpack the ZIP somewhere on your computer and open "setup.exe". The Setup Wizard will guide you through the process. After the Installation you will need to restart your computer to enable SVN Path Copy.

Use SVN Path Copy

When you are inside a SVN repository and right click to a file you will see two new options:

  • Copy SVN URL: This will copy the SVN-URL of the file to the clipboard. You can insert it then whereever you want. This Link will always point to the newest version of the file.

  • Copy SVN URL with REV: This will do the same as the above, but adds the revision number to the link. This link will always point to this version of the file. Please keep in mind that there is not only one standard how the revision needs to be encoded in the link. This tool will add ?p=[REVISION NUMBER]
