i am a software engineer and a recent computer science graduate from pomona college.


a little about me...

internships

  • i was a software engineer intern @ microsoft in the summer of 2025.
  • i was an explorer intern @ microsoft in the summer of 2024.

awards

  • i was awarded the 2026 paul b yale computer science prize by the cs faculty at pomona college.
  • i was selected as a 2026 lucy parsons labs fellowship finalist.
  • i was awarded the 2025 tapia conference scholarship.

undergraduate coursework

  • fundamental cs courses: data structures, algorithms, computer systems
  • cs electives: computer networks, human computer interaction, computational design tools
  • cs electives at harvey mudd college: computing education research, compiler design
  • other related courses: socially-engaged software, retro computing

leadership

  • program coordinator of the black and brown in computer science (bbics) cohort for three years.
  • teaching assistant for three different versions of the introduction to computer science course.
  • i.t. service desk supervisor for one year, and a prior year without the supervisor title.

a lot of my time in undergrad was spent serving as a voting or advisory member in student, faculty, and college committees.

  • advisory member: faculty position advisory committee, admissions and financial aid committee, pomona college board of trustees educational quality comittee, advisory committee on building access, the shared governance taskforce
  • chair: academic affairs committee

speaking

  • i moderated a panel about the defunding of science research, featuring two faculty members and the director of sponsored research in the fall of 2025.
  • i co-led a public presentation about automatic license plate readers and their harms in our local communities in the spring of 2026.

other hobbies

  • art: photography, collage, ceramics, painting
  • sports: rock climbing, cycling
