3D acoustics Sharpclaw test produces NaNs in GCC debug build with TVD limiting

In the 3D acoustics test with Sharpclaw, if lim_type is set to 1 then NaNs are produced and the test fails, only in the GCC debug build. It's not clear why this is happening. See #748 .
