Unable to install extension

Sadly I can't load the provided binary:

Error: ~/lib/libparquet.so.xz.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

But the file is there, I have also tried the absolute path with no difference.

And I can't build from source either:
after ./make-linux the ./make-linux-pgo does nothing and stops at:
unsure what libicu version to use

I would really love to use this extension though.

Warning: I tried to fix this by adding my ubuntu version and libicu version to the make file and it nuked the whole parent directory and adjacent using rm-rf. Don't know how or why but advise people to proceed with caution using this unmaintained repo
