It would eliminate unnecessary proxying via NC instance.

Thanks for raising this issue.

We already had oc:downloadURL in our PROPFIND request but never actually parsed it - now it's exposed as FsNode.info.download_url along with FsNode.info.download_url_expiration.

Could you install nc_py_api from the branch and check if it works for your setup?

pip install git+https://github.com/cloud-py-api/nc_py_api.git@feat/s3-presigned-url

The properties will be populated when your Nextcloud uses S3 storage with use_presigned_url enabled. On non-S3 backends they return empty string / zero.
