I think it should work now, I updated. Things change, so it helps if you know how Docker works and such so you can adjust it to be working. I dont have time to keep it up to date... :) The important thing is that the script copies the sql files from modules to data/sql/custom to integrate in the installation or build.

First thanks for sharing this @coc0nut. I got the pure azerothcore running in docker fairly easily but every attempt I made to run it with playerbots failed. I had just started my journey down the road to doing something like this repo trying to figure out what docker needed to perform all the steps for getting the playerbots module to work. It seems like the azeroth core folks have purposefully decided not to deal with all the custom sql for module, which is fine, I get it. It would be nice though if the documentation reflected that. :D

I'm also getting the database error:
service "ac-db-import" didn't complete successfully: exit 1

on a clean debian vm. I'll try and parse out exactly where the error is happening.

AzerothCore and the Playerbots module is being comitted daily almost so mods can fall out of compatibility. I have experienced failing installs using these scripts, while it suddenly works running it the next hour... This repo is just scripts to handle the AzerothCore Playerbots Docker :) And while the modules are individual projects, they are not synchronized with the playerbots repo. So the modules is not guaranteed to be working. I recommend joining the discord channels for help:

@coc0nut can you explain where this happens please? I can see that it downloads from github, and the execute_sql() function executes and builds up the single temp file to feed to the database. But I cannot find how the functionality works for copying from modules to the data/sql/custom. When I try to install essentially any mod that has custom sql individual-xp, ah-bot, the script output does not imply that any custom sql is being applied, and the world server has errors for missing tables. I can reproduce this by trying to install any of these mods using the install_mod method. Are you able to install these addons and run the script without issue? I must be doing something wrong, but I'm super confused because even after deleting all my docker volumes and images and even repulling this repo I get database errors with the main branch with no modifications.

I feel like theres something wrong with getting it to apply the custom SQL but I haven't been able to figure out how to fix it.

@arcaneintellect hey, its a while since i did this. the reason i created this script was because they hadnt implemented the sql copying into the docker containers. after a while they did their own implementation on this, and it conflicted mine. and i think its only the playerbots module they did the copying for. its a while since i did a build on this, i have a busy schedule these times. hopefully you can modify it and get it working :) seek help in mod-playerbot
