Hi, I’d like to work on this issue.

From the description, it seems that the reverse playlist state is not being preserved when the next video loads, possibly due to the playlist being reinitialized without applying the reversed order again.

I plan to investigate where the playlist order is reset and ensure the reversed state ("playlist_reversed_active") is consistently applied after navigation.

Please let me know if I can proceed with this. 🙂

Hi! Thanks for testing it. The fix isn't meant to be pasted into the browser console — it's a patch to the extension's source code itself.
To test it properly, you'd need to:

Download/clone the repo locally
Load it as an unpacked extension in Chrome (chrome://extensions → Enable Developer Mode → Load unpacked)
The fix will then work automatically when playlist_reverse is enabled

The maintainers will need to review and merge the PR first before it appears in the official extension release. Once merged, it will be available in the next update!
