- Within this section of the hierarchy in the garden, there are 5-10 articles at the next level; it's a fairly rich position. Pages of note [[Person/Lyz/Garden/Navigation/Life/Time/Abstraction]] and its sub-pages lay out levels of abstractions. It has two sub-pages: Identities and Axis

- # Identity [Axis - The Blue Book](https://lyz-code.github.io/blue-book/axis/)
5+
- ## Quotes
6+
- ### Intro
7+
- An identity axis is an abstract guide for action with an indefinite scope or a timeframe longer than one year. It serves as a high-level directional tool to materialise changes in your [identities](https://lyz-code.github.io/blue-book/identities/), helping to outline a general course without specifying exact destinations.

- ## Quotes
5+
- ### Intro
6+
- An [identity](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Identity_%28social_science%29) is the set of qualities, beliefs, personality traits, appearance, and/or expressions that characterize a person or a group.
7+
- acts as a "self-regulatory structure" that provides meaning, direction, and a sense of self-control
8+
- profoundly influences an individual's capacity to adapt to life events
9+
- originates from traits or attributes that you may have little or no control over, such as their family background or ethnicity
10+
- Identities then will be the guide of my life
11+
- I can split myself in many identities each with it's definition and analyse life through the different lenses, identify identity conflicts, priorize identities...
12+
- I can analyse each identity on it's own, decide how to change my roadmap to integrate the ones I want to adopt and get away from the ones I want to leave behind.
13+
- It reminds me of the RPG character building and although it may seem silly, that motivates me.

- # [The PARA Method: The Simple System for Organizing Your Digital Life in Seconds](https://fortelabs.com/blog/para/)
4+
- PARA is based on a simple observation: that there are only four categories that encompass all the information in your life.
5+
- ![PARA explained](https://fortelabs.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/3-BASB_Illos_Gray_211015_PARA-1024x537.jpg)
6+
- You have **projects** you’re actively working on – short-term efforts (in your work or personal life) that you take on with a certain goal in mind. For example:
7+
- Complete webpage design
8+
- Buy a new computer
9+
- Write research report
10+
- Renovate the bathroom
11+
- Finish Spanish language course
12+
- Set up new living room furniture
13+
- You have **areas** of responsibility – important parts of your work and life that require ongoing attention. These might include:
14+
- Work responsibilities such as Marketing, Human Resources, Product Management, Research and Development, Direct Reports, or Engineering
15+
- Personal responsibilities such as Health, Finances, Kids, Writing, Car, or Home
16+
- Then you have **resources** on a range of topics you’re interested in and learning about, such as:
17+
- Graphic design
18+
- Personal productivity
19+
- Organic gardening
20+
- Coffee
21+
- Modern architecture
22+
- Web design
23+
- Japanese language
24+
- French literature
25+
- Notetaking
26+
- Breathwork
27+
- Habit formation
28+
- Photography
29+
- Marketing assets
30+
- Finally, you have **archives**, which include anything from the previous three categories that is no longer active, but you might want to save for future reference:
31+
- Projects you’ve completed or put on hold
32+
- Areas that are no longer active or relevant
33+
- Resources that you’re no longer interested in
