Summary
The tools page lists 12+ tools with no guidance on which to choose. Multiple generators serve similar purposes (AutoCodemeta Generator, CodeMeta Generator, codemetapy) without clear differentiation.
Proposed change
Add a short "Which tool should I use?" section above the tools table, mapping user profiles to recommended tools:
- Python package → codemetapy
- R package → codemetar
- No coding background → CodeMeta Generator (web form)
- Automated pipeline → codemeta-harvester
Why
The lack of a recommended starting point is the single biggest friction point for new users, as noted in usability feedback for v4.0.
