• Competition Rooms Foundation: Multi-session rooms on PostgreSQL

  Make rooms durable containers for multiple independent RaceSessions while PostgreSQL becomes the sole source of truth for rooms, sessions, attempts, solves, and participant state. Normal room UX remains unchanged; competition rooms are feature-flagged. Prerequisites: complete #176 and settle PR #195 before schema work. #174 follows this redesign.

• Friend System

  Ship a safe, privacy-first way for authenticated cubers to reconnect: discover by normalized username or explicitly visible WCA ID, exchange friend requests, block unwanted contact, see friend presence, receive typed in-app notifications, and invite friends into rooms. Strict invariant: Let’s Cube does not request, retain, search, log, analyze, or deliver through WCA email. MVP excludes direct messages, browser push, persistent last-seen, and global stranger matching.
