Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We, the maintainers and contributors, pledge to make participation in this project and community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, education, level of experience, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, caste, color, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We commit to acting in ways that foster an open, safe, welcoming, and inclusive community.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:

  • Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward others
  • Being respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences
  • Giving and receiving constructive feedback gracefully
  • Taking accountability for mistakes and learning from them
  • Prioritizing what's best for the community and the project as a whole

Examples of behavior that is unacceptable include:

  • Sexualized or offensive language, imagery, or attention
  • Trolling, insulting remarks, personal attacks, or political harassment
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing others’ private information without their explicit permission
  • Any other conduct which a reasonable person would consider inappropriate in a professional setting

Enforcement Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing behavioral standards. They may remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, or other contributions that violate this Code of Conduct.

They will communicate moderation decisions when appropriate.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies in all community spaces, including GitHub issues, discussions, pull requests, and any public spaces where someone is representing the project or community.

Representation includes (but is not limited to):

  • Using an official project email address
  • Posting from an official social media account
  • Representing the project at online or offline events

Enforcement

Reports of abusive or unacceptable behavior may be sent to:

All complaints will be reviewed promptly and fairly.

Project leaders are obligated to protect the privacy and safety of reporters.

Enforcement Guidelines

The following guidelines describe consequences for behavior that violates this Code of Conduct.

1. Correction

Community Impact: Minor inappropriate behavior or unprofessional comments.

Consequence: A private warning with clarification and expectations for improvement. A public apology may be requested.


2. Warning

Community Impact: A violation through a single incident or series of actions.

Consequence: A warning with clear consequences for continued behavior. No interaction with the individuals involved for a set period of time.


3. Temporary Ban

Community Impact: A serious violation of community standards.

Consequence: A temporary ban from interaction within the community. No private or public communication with community members is allowed during this time.


4. Permanent Ban

Community Impact: Sustained inappropriate behavior, harassment, or aggression toward individuals or groups.

Consequence: Permanent removal from all community interactions.
