[Bug]: App tails to install and open when Hotspot is switched on send Wi-Fi is on bje not connected

Installed App from Google Play Store.
Tried up open the App from clicking on app icon in app drawer
Noting happens
On 6'th try, I get failure message from Redmi saying app faith to load

I can only take screenshots of the error, can't copy the text

Expected behaviour

Clicking on App drawer icon must open wiki Commons App

Actual behaviour

Installed App from Google Play Store.

Thanks for reporting, @gangaasoonu! Is your device no longer receiving the updates via Google Play? We released v6.6.0 this month, could you please check if it shows an option for you or if you could get the updated version from FDroid?

Google Play version 6.6.0 is where I'm getting error.

Let me try uninstalling Google Play version and using f droid version.

Installation via FDroid will likely get blocked soon. By the way, could you try these steps that Chris mentioned in the other issue:

The only way out is manually finding Settings → Apps → Commons → Storage → Clear storage, which most users won't know to do, and which also discards their login and any local, un-synced data
