Neko is such a solid choice for a Proxmox helper script! I’ve been running it in a manual Docker container for a few months to handle collaborative sessions, and the WebRTC performance is genuinely impressive compared to traditional VNC. For anyone else looking to support this, having a dedicated script to handle the room management and GPU passthrough configuration would be a massive time-saver. I actually ran into a few quirks with the internal streaming protocols when I first set it up on a low-latency network, but once the STUN/TURN servers are configured correctly, it's rock solid. Adding this to the repo would definitely be a huge win for those of us who need a secure, remote "sandbox" browser without the overhead of a full desktop VM. Upvoted! |

Description
Neko is a self-hosted virtual browser that lets multiple users connect and share a single browser session with video and audio streaming. It's perfect for collaborative browsing, testing, watching videos together, or securely accessing the internet from any device. Built with WebRTC and GPU support, it offers low-latency performance and strong privacy.
Adding Neko to the Proxmox VE Helper-Scripts would allow users to quickly spin up containerized or VM-based remote browser instances with minimal configuration. It’s especially valuable for devs, QA testers, and educators.
