I assume this is related to nodebb install failing then?

jep, mongodb think the cpu is an attacker and block the whole calls with kernel 7. Same on Docker

Is there any way to temporarily bypass that so that I can use nodebb install script?

I don't know if it's possible to let the user decide to either use mongodb or postgres when running the install script maybe?

As I wanted to use postgres anyway in this case 🤔

does nodebb run with psql? at the moment i created the script its only avaible for mongo, if yes, create an new task with docs please

Oh no, just checked the official docs and only runs on mongo and redis.

Given that I want a postgres forum solution, I'll look for an alternative and try to learn how to create a new script 👌

If the app is critical for you, just downgrade the kernel

Instead of downgrading the Linux kernel, you can resolve this compatibility issue by specifically installing or upgrading to MongoDB v8.0.4.

Running PVE 9.1.9 with Kernel 7.0.0-3-pve. MongoDB 8.0.21 fails to start even with
vm.mmap_rnd_bits=28 set on the host — the kernel version check still blocks startup.

Workaround: downgrade mongodb-org-server and mongodb-org-mongos to 7.0.21, then pin
them with apt-mark hold to prevent auto-upgrade back to 8.0.
