how to include files in jupyter lite

I'm trying to put some code in a file outside, but next to, a notebook in Jupyter lite, e.g. on https://jupyter.org/try-jupyter/lab/:

I looked at the tutorials and docs, to no avail. Is this a mistake on my part or limitation of the browser setup?

I was not able to replicate this, and was able to load foo.h fine inside the deployment. Can you show your jupyter lite file explorer showing where the notebook and foo.h are?

I initially created the file ./foo.h using the terminal with vim, and including from notesbooks/cpp.ipynb did not work (of course), so I moved ./foo.h to notebooks/foo.h and it still did not work, prompting me to open the issue.. After reloading the notebook, it now works.

So this was a mistake on my part, and includes do work, though there may be a include cache issue to consider?
