Use Continue CLI without account ?

Hi,

I've installed continuedev/cli but when I start it I'm aksed to login with a continue.dev account. I'm writing Entreprise code under NDA/Strong IP restriction. That's not reasonable to assume that what I do is tracked/sent to an external company. Would be nice if CLI could be used without tracking.

hey! thanks for calling out the template issue - just fixed that

and yes, i think this is more than a reasonable ask given our sunsetting of Continue Hub / Mission Control - i'm working on an update that i'll likely ship later today

For those interested, I found a work around:

1. start continue cli
2. exit it (so that default config files are created)
3. create the "onboarding" file with a date in it :

echo "2026-05-12T13:05:21.145Z" > .continue/.onboarding_complete

4. start continu cli again \o/
