komit is a JVM-native toolkit for Java developers that validates Conventional Commits, runs staged-file linting, and manages Git hooks. It ships a CLI and a Maven plugin, and can reuse existing commitlint and lint-staged configs.
The JVM ecosystem currently lacks a first-class equivalent to commitlint; this entry helps Java developers discover a native option.
