Component: No‑Code Studio – App Creation UI
Environment: No‑Code Studio 2.2.x
Version: 2.2.x
Browsers: All (to confirm)
🎯 Description
The “Create Empty App” button (the one used to create a new app without selecting a template) needs a visual redesign.
Currently:
- The button looks too plain compared to template cards.
- It is not visually clear that it creates a blank project.
- It does not stand out or communicate its purpose effectively.
- Users may mistake it for a placeholder or an inactive option.
This is a UI/UX improvement task to make the button more intuitive and visually aligned with the rest of the app creation screen.
📌 Expected Improvements
- Improve the visual design so the button clearly represents:
“Start from scratch / Empty app / Blank project”
- Make it visually consistent with template cards while still distinct.
- Add a meaningful icon (e.g., empty canvas, plus sign, blank document).
- Improve labeling to avoid confusion.
- Ensure accessibility and readability.
🧭 Steps to Observe Current Behavior
- Open No‑Code Studio 2.2.x.
- Go to the Apps edition screen.
- Look at the “Empty” button.
- Notice that the button is visually minimal and unclear.
