Installation Guide

There are two ways to install Kneuron:

Option 1: Direct Installation (Latest Version)

For access to the latest features and updates:

1. Download the latest version from our AWS server: Kneuron.zip
2. Extract the ZIP file to a folder of your choice
   • If updating, you must overwrite all existing files
3. Open your Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Edge, etc.)
4. Navigate to Extensions:
   • Chrome: chrome://extensions/
   • Edge: edge://extensions/
   • Or use the menu: Extensions / Manage Extensions
5. Enable "Developer mode"
6. Click "Load unpacked"
7. Select the folder where you extracted Kneuron
8. The extension is now installed!

Option 2: Chrome Web Store

Note: This method is not recommended at the moment. The Chrome Web Store is still reviewing an old version and will always be several versions behind the AWS' zip version. It will be suitable in a few weeks probably, when they finish approving version 1.2.0 (written as of Oct 27, 2024).

1. Visit Kneuron on Chrome Web Store
2. Click "Add to Chrome"
3. Follow the browser prompts to complete installation

Verification

1. Open your Knack Builder or refresh existing Builder pages
2. Look for the Kneuron icon in your browser's extension toolbar
3. Click on the icon to see cheat sheet
4. The extension's features should now be available in the Builder interface

Troubleshooting

If the extension isn't working:

• Ensure Developer mode is still enabled
• Try refreshing the Builder page
• Verify the extension is enabled in your browser
• If updating, make sure all old files were properly overwritten
