v0.5.0 has been released with breaking changes. If you installed before December 6, 2025, please upgrade.

Why Upgrade?

How to Upgrade

Simply re-run the installer:

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/costiash/claude-code-docs/main/install.sh | bash

The installer will:

1. ✅ Detect your existing installation
2. ✅ Show you what's changing
3. ✅ Perform an atomic upgrade
4. ✅ Verify the installation

How to Check Your Version

~/.claude-code-docs/claude-docs-helper.sh --version

If you see v0.4.x, you need to upgrade.

(The actual important part here is the added safeguards to the automatic docs updates. Because Anthropic constantly moving things around, it causes sitemaps url fetching break and can cause to unstable behavior regarding the saved documentations. So after by chance noticed it had to implement these fixes and used already the opportunity to introduce some more improvements and refactoring)

Hi @hesreallyhim thanks for responding. I'm currently working over converting this into a full Plugin structure with Claude Code native operations instead of the current scripting. This way I get rid the requirement for having python (the python scripts that will left be only these that requiring by the CI/CD pipelines) and then I bump this to v1. As to the semantic version and what we talked about previously, I actually want to check if after transforming the logic into "Claude Code native" it will answer on the semantic factor as the new 4.6 model versions pretty powerful so I believe that harnessing their natural language understanding be functional for the semantic need
