error creating a sdrf file

[KUProteomics]

In MaxQuant 2.8 I follow the following steps as described on the manual:

1 on Raw data uploading a Thermo raw file and set experiment, no fractions,
2 on group specific parameters define a MS2 TMT pro experiment and Digestion trypsin/P
3 on global parameters, loaded a mouse data file
4 on Metadata, refresh loading the description of the experiment

then to create a sdrf file I get the following error message:

Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue

The given key "1" was not present in the dictionary

• OS: windows 11, 64 GB
• MaxQuant v 2.8.0.0

[KUProteomics]

After clicking "continue" the resulting sdrf file is empty.

I am using a Sigle fraction as test to set up an experiment. This is a MS2 using TMT pro label (only 15 labels used of the 16 available on the kit).

If needed I am willing to share the files I am using.

This should be fixed with MQ 2.8.1 (released yesterday)
