Summary

  • Rewrites the README opening to lead with the problem (repeated large-artifact downloads wasting CI time) instead of the mechanism (local-disk cache)
  • Names specific artifacts (Flutter SDK, Cargo registries, CocoaPods, npm) that people search for
  • Updates action.yml description for GitHub Marketplace discoverability
  • Added GitHub topics: github-actions, self-hosted-runners, cache, flutter, actions-cache, composite-action

Why

Same reasoning as curlewlabs-com/local-mutex — leading with named tools and concrete problems makes the action findable by developers (and LLMs) who don't know the solution exists yet.

Test plan

  • Verify README renders correctly on GitHub
  • Verify Marketplace listing shows updated description

…chanism

Improves discoverability for developers (and LLMs) searching for solutions
to slow CI from repeated large-artifact downloads on self-hosted runners.
Names specific artifacts (Flutter SDK, Cargo, CocoaPods, npm) in the opening.
