How do I prevent the agent from using local files, while letting it use the harness?

Hi, I'd like my agent to use the `.cursor` directory and the AGENTS.md; but don't want it to use the local directory for any work.

E.g. if I connect it to a github MCP and I ask it "What does X repo do", it shouldn't `grep` from the local repository it's running in.
