Common macOS key combinations do not work anymore (?)

(following Apple's HIG: human interface guidelines)

• CMD+M to minimize (not CMD+H)

• CMD+T for a new tab, (not CMD+N, which is normally used to open a new App Window)

Steps to Reproduce

1. in a Terminal sudo xattr -cr /Applications/NotepadNext.app
2. Start the App
3. Try common macOS keyboard shortcuts

I just realized that Notepad Next does not (and did never) follow the usual macOS keyboard shortcuts (compared to my old installation(s) on Sequoia, High Sierra).

I agree there are likely many shortcuts that could leverage the Standard Shortcuts so things are more cross platform.

CMD+M to minimize (not CMD+H)

I don't believe the application sets this shortcut...must be something Qt is setting specifically.

CMD+T for a new tab, (not CMD+N, which is normally used to open a new App Window)

Specifically, the Ctrl+N I can see both sides of this. It acts more like a "new file". Currently the only way to override shortcuts is manually in the config file. Hopefully sometime in the future the application can have multiple windows.

Where can I fine-tune this settings file? But please consider this request ow priority!

In the application config file (not sure where it is on macOS...the debug log should show where it is at) you can add these two lines to override the new file option and set it to Ctrl+T:

[Shortcuts]
New=Ctrl+T

I could add new shortcuts like this; the Cmd Key on macOS is mapped or identified by Ctrl as well. Unfortunately this erased my temp. files; where are they located? I need to restore them...
