compatibility with rtx 5090?

Hi Dan
Congratulations on the coloring product you made. I would really like to try it out, but if I may ask a few questions first:

1. Is it compatible in combination with Hybrid with nvidia rtx 5090 or amd 9070 xt
2. Apart from Hybrid_dev_2025.09.18-153823 and VapoursynthR72_torch_2025.09.17 do I need to install anything else - it is not very clear from the manual you posted whether python needs to be installed or not. At the moment, nothing works for me with just these two files installed.
   If you can help me, I would be very grateful.

The encoding problem is solved after installing another partition on the hard drive, apparently the installation in Program Files is a problem for now

At page 6 I wrote: It is suggested to install Hybrid in a writeable path, like “C:\Hybrid” or “D:\Programs\Hybrid”.
In the User Guide I don't explained the reason, but the main reason is that there are some coloring models that download the neural networks if there is need or were updated respect to the version released with Hybrid. So Hybrid must be able to write in the installation directory, and since for security reasons running Hybrid as administrator was disabled by Selur. It is not possible to install Hybrid in "c.\Program Files".

For what I can see, you are attempting to use DDColor with HAVC. DDColor is already included in HAVC, please read the documentation. If you want to use DDColor only you can select in HAVC use Coloring = DDColor(Artistic).
Moever it seems that HAVC_ColorAdjust is not available. Please download the current experimental version of Hybrid. HAVC 5.5.0 currently is only available in experimental folder

Please read chapter 3.13. at page 15 of User Guide. The filter "B&W Tune" is already included in HAVC so it is not necessary to apply the filer HAVC_ColorAdjust. As explained in the Guide the filter HAVC_ColorAdjust was added to improve movies already colored. Supposing that you have already a colored movie for example: test_deoldify.mp4. You can use HAVC_ColorAdjust to improve the colors of test_deoldify.mp4, but in this case you don't have use HAVC.

ps: if everything works out, I'm thinking of coloring my collection of black and white football matches, if you've already tried coloring them, could you share a script that would work best?

Try the settings suggested at page 29-30 for high powered GPU.
Then you can experiment by changing "B&W tune", "B&W blend", "Stabilize" and "Denoise".
To get the result that best suite your need.
If you find that the colors are still not good enough for you, read the chapter 3.0.3 at page 12-13.

the first attempt is not very successful - a bit dark and gray colors, but I need bright and saturated - I probably have to test a lot, but the software is incredible - congratulations and bow, I never believed that someone could create something like this

Try the "Tweak" parameters shown at page 12, saturation=1.15 and Hue=10.
If is not enough you can try to increase them.
