PAI v4 → v5 — Migration / Gap Analysis / Privacy / Security / Learning loop

Hi all,

While investigating the transition from v4.0.3 to v5, I asked my DA to produce a gap analysis and help me understand the differences between the two versions.

The document evolved over time and now also includes answers related to my specific use cases:

• Migration map
• Interview privacy and process explanation, including identified issues
• Privacy and LLM discovered information
• Work-only Telos profile
• Security pipeline
• Learning loop problems
• Onboarding atlas

It is an evidence-first comparison of staged PAI v5 against active PAI v4. Every claim is anchored to a primary-source citation.
Each concern raised by the user is treated as a separate domain.

Although the file also contains the migration analysis and fixes I implemented in v4.0.3, and a focus on Linux, I believe it could still be useful for anyone wanting to understand how the v5 architecture compares to v4.0.3 without having to go through all the documentation.

Some issues arose during the process and are noted in the document.

The file is a plain HTML document with a table of contents, formatting, and diagrams.
