Can't see the menu screen

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Installed patchstick 
2. Installed nito, boxee, and then clicked restart finder
3. everything loads, no sound, then i can't see menu, but i can hear it




What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Verison 3

you forgot to include, "installed atvfiles", ssh in and remove it.

i'm sorry.  i left that out of the description.   i did included atvfiles as 
well.  it was working perfectly until i 
clicked restart finder.  

How do i ssh in to fix this?  so weird because i still get the screensaver.  
Seems to be working, but i cant see the 
menu. 

i am happy to redo the whole thing, but i am not sure how to undo all this.

I got this message:

Okay, I did a factory restore, did the entire thing over again.  And I got the 
same problem. 

I installed atvfiles, nitotv, the softwaremenu update and boxee update.  I 
tried to install boxee, but i got an error 
message.  

Then I rebooted the system and i went back to the same dead menu as before.  

Why is this not working for me?
