The question is not so easy to answer. In general, you can only receive stalking warnings on iPhones by default, as this is the Apple FindMy network. For Android, you need 3rd party software (such as AirGuard -> which was created during the development of openHaystack). With this I can see all my trackers and also get warnings (if I don't use rotating keys). Because every manufacturer cooks its own soup here, this whole anti-stalking feature is very limited. |

Just wanted to ask why stalker warnings do not show. I have been using 5 Tags for about 2 Years now and have never received a single warning about these in any device, Android or (old) Apple ones. Even though I do not use rotating Keys.
I have trackers in my car, car keys, and backpack so things I am using often and regularly. At least the Backpack every day of the week, 100% of the times I have my phone (Pixel7, Stalker warnings active) with me. Never have I ever received a single warning.
It does not bother me, I don't want warnings. It just seems odd to me and arises my interest. Isn't the warning system especially for devices like these and isn't key rotation the very feature designed to counter it? Either key rotation or warnings feature feels absolutely useless to me. Any Ideas why? Am I the only one?
