1. Roadmap Overview

1.1 Goals

This roadmap guides the development of SupplyBoost from initial repository restructuring to a production-ready, demonstrable supply chain management system.

Success Criteria:

  • ✅ Complete end-to-end user journey (browse → purchase → shipment)
  • ✅ All microservices deployed and communicating
  • ✅ Monitoring and observability in place
  • ✅ Documentation complete and accurate
  • ✅ System deployable via single command

2.2 Release Criteria

Each release must meet:

  • All automated tests passing (unit + integration)
  • Code review completed (self-review + checklist)
  • Documentation updated
  • Deployment tested in staging environment
  • No critical or high-severity bugs
  • Release notes prepared

Phase 1: Foundation (Weeks 1-4)

Objective: Establish solid foundation for development

Week 1: Repository Cleanup & Planning

Focus: Clean up existing mess, establish structure

Week 2: CI/CD & Project Scaffolding

Focus: Automation and service foundations
