[Discussion] Access to temporary/working output files before separation is finished?

I don't really need real-time stemming, but since stemming is running at > 1x speed, I would love access to the stems that have already been processed, even though the process isn't finished yet.

Are there on-disk temporary files, or are they kept in RAM?
