so i install a vscode extension which turns out to be a meta package next thing i know i get a prompt about setting this bullshit up. It opens a file that has a get started button that doesnt work and a <video> element that doesn't appear to have any content or loading indicator or thumbnail... ok whatever back to writing code in my workspace....
wait another 30 seconds it asks if it should overwrite $HOME/Dendron or if it should keep existing.... ummm yeah i uninstalled this bullshit the moment i saw that prompt, but it reinstalled when i noticed the markdown image paste was a dependency.
another 30 seconds later it opens its own god damn CODE WORKSPACE! I dont give a shit about note taking in my IDE, i just write markdown for documentation sometimes. I clicked the report issue button and it took 30 seconds to prompt chrome to open github aand by that time i had clicked report issue 10 times so now ive got 10 new tabs.
