Git 설치 가이드

1. Windows 설치

Windows에서는 Git 공식 사이트에서 설치 파일을 받거나 winget으로 설치할 수 있다. Git 공식 설치 페이지는 Git for Windows 설치 파일과 winget install --id Git.Git -e --source winget 명령을 안내한다. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

방법 1. 설치 파일로 설치

브라우저에서 공식 다운로드 페이지로 들어가서 설치한다.

방법 2. winget으로 설치

PowerShell 또는 CMD에서 실행한다.

winget install --id Git.Git -e --source winget

설치 확인

git --version

2. macOS 설치

3. Linux 설치

Ubuntu / Debian

sudo apt update
sudo apt install git -y

Fedora

sudo dnf install git -y

CentOS / RHEL 계열

sudo yum install git -y

Arch Linux

sudo pacman -S git

설치 확인

git --version

4. 설치 후 최초 설정

사용자 이름 설정

git config --global user.name "<name>"

이메일 설정

git config --global user.email "<email>"

기본 branch 이름 main으로 설정

git config --global init.defaultBranch main

설정 확인

git config --list

5. 설치 확인용 테스트

Git이 정상 설치됐는지 간단히 확인한다.

git --version
git config --list
