State of the project

Hey, just wondering what's the state of this project?

Do you intend to continue maintaining and developing it?

I've noticed there is a big refactor PR that needs to be merged before anything else can be added: #185.

Thank you for reaching out. The past two years have been quite challenging, and I decided to focus on personal goals: from losing 40 kg to learning German and working on building a better life for myself.

Now, I’m slowly returning to tech and would like to hand this project over to new maintainers. I’ve set up a new organization called k8s-essentials. If you’re interested in maintaining this project with me, please let me know and I’ll be happy to add you.

I just wanted to let you know that we’ve started maintaining a fork of this project at https://github.com/nccloud/wireguard-operator. We’ve already added some improvements (bug fixes, small features, and a few tweaks to the build/CI), and we plan to continue maintaining it going forward.

Hi @nocturo,

I’m really happy to hear that Namespace is taking over maintenance of this project — that genuinely made my day. I’m confident they’ll build on the work I started and help make VPNs even more accessible for everyone.

I’ll archive this repository and add a reference to the Namespace fork.
