Backfill content from PRs #970, #1126, #1131, #1312, #1425, #1706, #1994, #2029, #2111, #2170, #2246, #2252, #2253, #2318, #2349, #2351, #2371 — all created before the April 2026 refactoring that renamed `release-notes/` to `prod-releases/`.
