Contributing to Awesome Bug Bounty

Guidelines for Adding Entries

Adding New Bug Bounty Programs

  1. Research & Verify:

    • Program is active and accepting reports
    • Clear security policy exists
    • Links are working and accessible

  2. Format: Follow existing style

    • Programs: - [Company Name](URL or email)
    • Platforms: - [Platform Name](URL)
    • Keep entries alphabetically ordered

  3. Placement: Add to appropriate section

    • Bug bounty platforms → Platforms section
    • Company programs → Available Programs section
    • Aggregators → Aggregators section

Updating Existing Entries

  • Fix broken links
  • Update outdated URLs
  • Improve formatting

Pull Request Process

  1. Fork the repository
  2. Make your changes
  3. Ensure alphabetical order is maintained
  4. Provide a clear description of changes
  5. Submit PR for review

What We Accept

✓ New legitimate bug bounty programs ✓ Fixing broken/outdated links ✓ Improving documentation ✓ Adding new platforms or aggregators

✗ Promotional content ✗ Spam or low-quality entries

Open an issue with:

  • The problematic entry
  • What needs to be fixed
  • Why the change is needed
