Description of problem
When you use a Display Name format in Security > Member Accounts > REGISTRATION SETTINGS > Display Name Format
You obviously cannot edit the Display Name anymore, but that is not clear in the Edit User screen.
Description of solution
IMO the DisplayName textbox in User management should be Read Only or at least indicate that you cannot edit the Display Name when you used a Display Name Format. I took me while to realize why saving a display name didn't "work" on a specific site so I guess someone new to DNN will think it's a bug..
