Koog Support

Hi,

Your project looks very promising. I'm thinking about adding support for the Kotlin AI framework Koog (https://docs.koog.ai/), mainly for the judge functionality (Koog strength is the Agentic Graph, not RAG ;-), but RAG support could be added later too).

This would also include a Kotlin extension package for more idiomatic Kotlin support.

Would you be willing to accept this contribution?

Hi @upeter, thanks a lot for the interest in the project and starting this discussion!

Yes, I'd definitely be open to a Koog integration :). I think the judge functionality would make a lot of sense as a starting point since the core interface, such as JudgeLM and Task are quite simple and should work well with most existing frameworks.

For the design, it could follow the same pattern as the existing integration packages, so the project could provide something like dokimos-koog with a KoogSupport class. I think we could follow the same pattern there as we're using for the dokimos-langchain4j and dokimos-spring-ai packages, if that makes sense.

For the Kotlin extensions, I think a separate dokimos-kotlin module could make sense. This would allow us to separate the core Java module from the Kotlin extensions and the Kotlin module could provide some more idiomatic APIs on top of it. I don't really have experience with Kotlin, but I think that's what other popular projects are usually doing, and I'm very open to any ideas/suggestions you might have for it :).

Would be great to see a proposal PR and to iterate from there!

Hi @fkapsahili, sounds great! That's exactly what I had in mind: an integration module for koog (dokimos-koog) and an extension pack for Kotlin (dokimos-kotlin). I'm very much into Kotlin, so that should be fine. I'll get to work ;-).
