Neo Geo CD Feature Request / Compatibility Issues

Hi,

First, thank you for creating CHDMounter and integrating it with Simple Launcher. I've been testing Neo Geo CD support with several legacy emulators and found a couple of compatibility issues that may be worth looking into.

Nebula

I'd like to request Nebula be added as a supported Neo Geo CD emulator.

Nebula launches using:

nebula neocd

It works best with a fixed drive letter (for example Z:) because it stores the selected drive in:

config\general.dat
NeoCDDrive=Z:

Using CHDMounter /s:5, the game loads correctly, but CD music does not play.

For comparison, I tested:

1. CHDMounter /s:20
2. Mount the generated CUE/BIN using DAEMON Tools.
3. Launch Nebula.

With this method, both the game and CD music work correctly.

Would it be possible to improve /s:5 so CD audio is presented the same way? If so, Nebula could launch directly from CHD files without requiring DAEMON Tools.

FinalBurn Alpha

I'm testing:

FBA64 v0.2.97.43

Simple Launcher appears to use CHDMounter /s:20, but this version of FinalBurn Alpha only works correctly with:

CUE + ISO + standard PCM WAV

Using this format, both the game and CD music load correctly.

Unlike most emulators, FinalBurn Alpha does not appear to support launching Neo Geo CD games directly from the command line. Instead, it loads the image specified in:

config\fba64.ini

using:

CDEmuImage=...\Game.cue

I'm assuming Simple Launcher updates this value before launching the emulator.

If technically possible, would it be possible to add another Neo Geo CD mode that generates a compatible CUE + ISO + WAV layout from a CHD? This would allow CHD collections to work with additional legacy Neo Geo CD emulators such as FinalBurn Alpha.

Thanks again for all your work on CHDMounter and Simple Launcher. I'd be happy to test any Neo Geo CD improvements if needed.
