Feature to limit user selection (Let say user can select only 2 items)

I love your library and used it in many projects. Thanks for your hard work.

I have been searching for a workaround to limit user selection, I can get the item count and notify user but can't find a way to disable selection.

Is there already a feature which I can't find in the library.

If not then how can I achieve that.
