Hi @duncdrum — closing this WIP as obsolete. #367 (just merged) removed pom.xml and the entire src/main/java/ tree from monex, so the v7-compat work this branch was doing at the Java/Maven layer is no longer needed here. The Java pieces have moved upstream into eXist core's ConsoleCompatModule. Thanks for the head-start on v7 thinking — happy to revisit any pieces that still apply if you'd like.
