Hot key does not paste text to the 'Search settings' field

Describe the bug

It's not possible to paste text using hot key (coomand+V in my case) in the Search settings field.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open a workspace
2. Go to the the Settings
3. Copy any text
4. Try to paste any text to the Search settings field using hot key (Ctrl+V or command+V in case of macOS)

Expected behavior

Text should be pasted when the corresponding hot key is used

I suspect the issue might be in the upsteam VS Code OSS - https://github.com/microsoft/vscode

In the Visual Studio Code web pasting the text works well https://vscode.dev/github/vitaliy-guliy/vscode-test-extension
I think the issue may disappear after aligning Che-Code with the upstream.
