In general I think there is some value after cleaning it up. In fact I have the intention to do that soon trying out the EF Hugo template. As I expect the website to be simple, the Hugo template could be a good fit.

https://www.eclipse.org/pde/ is returning 404 (and has been for a couple months according to the Wayback Machine).

That's right, this is due PHP being disallowed for the Eclipse project websites. But as written above, I hope this is resolved soon.
