Downloads from I build p2 repo very slow

I don't know if this is the right place to report this...

I have a target file with

Just lately when resolving the target platform the download speed is something like 10 kb/s. I wonder if this is a known issue or whether a mirror should be used instead.

Unfortunately there is nothing the project could do . It's worth trying to EF via https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/helpdesk/-/issues and see whether they will figure what is going on as you're not the only one that reports the problem.

Yes, I noticed too it's very, very slow the last days. But that's a problem with the download.eclipse.org server. The only thing the project might do is ensure these repositories are mirrored, but the naming convention (filtering by name) for what's mirrored is designed and intended not to mirror I-builds which sort of makes sense because there are many and they change often while generally the consumers only consume the most recent, which might well not be mirrored yet anyway. In other words the mirroring infrastructure is designed to ignore I-build based on the current naming convention, and I think that's the case for quite a good reason.
