If I understood it correctly, setting the background mode of a composite to SWT.INHERIT_DEFAULT or SWT.INHERIT_FORCE only influences its children. I want to use a certain StyledText control as a label with styles. Hence I want it to inherit it's parent background color. But because not all sibling controls should inherit it, I think, I can't set the StyledText's parent's background mode to SWT.INHERIT_FORCE. But how to actually set the StyledText's background to inherit it from its parent?
PS: I'm working on MacOS and the StyledText control is in a TabFolder
